Troubleshooting
Effect not visible?
- Check that the effect is actually applied (not "None")
- Ensure intensity is above 0% for adjustable effects
- Preview the video to see the effect in action
Effect too strong/weak?
- Adjust the intensity slider
- Try a different effect from the same category
- Consider if the effect matches your content
Performance issues?
- Some effects (like VHS and Film Grain) are more resource-intensive
- Reduce intensity if playback is choppy
- Effects render efficiently in final export
Effect looks different in export?
- Preview in the editor matches export quality
- Some effects may appear slightly different at different resolutions
- Test export a short clip first
Tips for Professional Results
- Less is more - Subtle effects often look more professional
- Match your brand - Use effects that align with your brand identity
- Consistency - Use the same effect throughout a series for cohesion
- Test before committing - Preview effects before finalizing your video
- Consider your platform - Some effects work better for specific platforms
